About Breakglass
An Amsterdam collective for techno and UK garage. We put on small-room nights in Amsterdam Noord.
A few DJs and friends started Breakglass to put on the nights we wanted to go to. The focus is the music and the people on the floor.
We play techno and UK garage — groove techno, two-step and sub-bass. We don't police genre lines.
Residents play alongside emerging and local artists.
The nights
Respect on the floor, look out for the people around you. We pay attention to the sound, the lighting and the timing between sets.
Amsterdam Noord
We're based in Amsterdam Noord, where old industrial spaces have turned into independent venues. We want to keep working here and support the local scene.
